Spookie
Daly Pride is
a four piece band out of Boston. At the center
of the group, is Spookie Daly - Songwriter, Singer,
Piano player, & resident lunatic of the quartet.
He bangs out original compositions on a junky
upright that is the launching point for the SDP
experience.
With a vocal delivery that conjures the spirits
of Tom Waits, Nick Cave, and Dr. John, his voice
is
the central lead in the cast of rag tag cartoon
characters that make up the Pride. Backing him
is Floyd Kellogg
on Bass, Tommy Diehl on Drums, and Pete Witham
on Guitar. The band delivers high energy music
that
is reminiscent of their biggest influences: NRBQ,
Louis Prima, and the Muppet Band. www.spookiedalypride.com/ |

Lars
Vegas was formed in the summer of 1989 in Portland, Maine.
In the ensuing ten years, the original quartet (Tom Stenquist
- voice, Chris Forkey - bass, Jeff Platz - guitar, and
Mike Dank - drums) relocated to Boston, expanded their
line-up to include more acoustic elements (vibraphone,
upright bass, and horns), gigged coast to coast, and
recorded two CDs and a single.

Tucker
Bradley
Galveston resident Tucker Bradley first performed with
Houston's Cat's Pajamas in 1972 for a two-week run at Norm
Silver's Moustache Club, Montreal, Quebec. For the rest
of the 70's, wearing several musical hats she enjoyed playing
bass, rhythm guitar, and singing with a variety of Houston's
local legends, the likes of Rock Romano, Mike Sumler, Mayo
Thompson, Doug Lacy, Richard Dobson, Frank Davis, and Bianca
DeLeon. Bradley returns to performing after a 20-year marital
hiatus as a solo performer, singing from her soul and accompanying
herself with her bluesy-jass-ish guitar style.
