Music is the pulse that makes our heart
beat......to pump the life through our bodies.
Play some form of music to a human at the lowest depths
of their life and you will get a positive response. It's what
taps the toes, snaps the fingers, sways the head and moves
the body. People are brought together by it........and torn
apart by it.
Don't fool yourselves, it is a form of communication.
With that all said, you can be sure why I have made
music my vessel. It has taken me places I had not imagined
I'd be, and will continue to make my life adventurous.
Ever since age 9 when he grabbed that first pair of his
mom's wooden mixing spoons, tapping on the edge of the house
porcelain bathtub, Dave has been providing the tempo for
all types of music. He has played with many music groups over
the years, while also giving back that knowledge by teaching
the young students coming behind him. The 10 years before he
moved to Houston, he acquired the skill of rub-board, sitting
in with the numerous touring bands that came through the Chicago
area. That brings us to the present. The winter cold and mountains
of snow finally 'nudged' him to head south to gentler winters.
Now that he has adjusted to the thinner blood necessary to live
in Houston's hot summers, Dave is back in the music scene, providing
the beat to the many bands that have needed his talent. While
looking for a new opportunity to replace the band that had just
dissolved, Budaka came calling, and the rest is history.
